I had this idea of finger painting the colors before tilting!! Almost made a good painting. It was worth a try. I slapped way too many colors on this canvas twice!! Less is more is always a good idea when it comes to this technique. So I took my two favorite colors and gave it a go in the third attempt. Soooo happy I stuck it out. Since this video contains both recipes for cloud mix, I’m including both below. Decoart satin enamels and Behr satin enamels!

The colors are listed in the video, but In the final result were these two:

Modern masters in glacier blue mixed with Amsterdam permanent blue light

Golden Quinacridone nickel azo gold

BEHR RECIPE
CLOUD MIX RECIPE (in this order) 36oz
6 oz of Artist Loft Flow Acrylic in White
6 oz BEHR satin enamels 7050
12oz of Floetrol
2.5oz of Liquitex pouring medium
2.5oz of GAC800
8oz of water to thin added slowly

DECOART SATIN ENAMELS RECIPE
CLOUD MIX – 36oz bottle
8 oz of Artist Loft Flow Acrylic in White
4oz of Decoart satin enamels in pure white
12oz of Floetrol
2oz of Liquitex pouring medium
2oz of GAC800
8oz of water to thin added slowly

Paint pouring medium
Floetrol
GAC800
Liquitex pouring medium
3:1:1
Water to thin
